Tonight we are looking at worship in the Psalms. The great beauty of the Psalms lies in their universal application within the worship of the Church. HERE is a link to the “Morning Prayer” service (called Orthros) of the Eastern Church. Notice how the service opens with the Six Psalms (not simply the one or merely part of one that is more typical of a Western liturgical service (compline excluded)) and how those Psalms are chosen and organized to present the Gospel message.
