Just a reminder that we will begin our summer gathering on Tuesday, June 4 starting with the study of Ephesians. I am eagerly looking forward to us getting back together after our short break. One of the essential attributes of being a Christian is participating and being in the community of other believers both on the grand scale of being part of the universal church and the smaller scale of believers simply sharing a fellowship meal and the apostles’ teachings. In preparation for Tuesday, please pray about us, and then read Ephesians 1 and your Bible’s introductory notes to Ephesians. Also, please read pages 3-17 of N.T. Wright’s book Paul for Everyone: The Prison Letters: Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Philemon. If you do not have his book yet, please let me know. I still have a few copies left, and will gladly order more. And, please let this summer be an opportunity to invite others into our study. Dinner is at 6. Amy is cooking for us. We will end with Compline by 8pm.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.
