This evening Fr. Gabriel will continue to lead us through Hebrews. Please read Hebrews 9-10 for tonight. Within these chapters, the writer continues his argument that Christ is the Great High Priest and that the entirety of the Old Testament sacrificial system was simply a shadow of that ultimate true reality disclosed in the coming of Christ. If you have the time today, please read through the description of the worship in the Tabernacle in Exodus 25 and the sacrificial system as described in Leviticus 9 and 16. Review these Old Testament passages through the lens of the Incarnation and the Cross, and see if you can see Christ within the descriptions.
