The Psalms – Praises and Palm Sunday

Congratulations to all of us who made it through all 176 verses of Psalm 119. We have two weeks left in the Psalms. This week we are looking at Praise in the Psalms (triumphant entry into Jerusalem) and we will finish up on March 21 with the Suffering Psalms of Holy Week.  This week please review Chapter 9 of Lewis “A Word About Praising” and Psalms 118:15-29, 100, 24, 148-50, and 136. Please be intentional about using these Psalms of Praise in preparation for Palm Sunday.

Hosannah, Lord, hosannah! *
Lord, send us now success.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; *
we bless you from the house of the Lord.
God is the Lord; he has shined upon us; *
form a procession with branches up to the horns of the altar.

Psalm 118:25-27

Dinner is at 6. On March 28, is the Seder meal at Trinity. The costs in $10 per person. There is a sign-up sheet at the church. If are not going to be at Trinity in the next two weeks, let me know if you want to go, and I will sign you up. I will also bring the sign-up sheet to our gathering next week. This Seder meal will be a perfect end to our lessons.
